well, im back at my keyboard, rattling out an entry. After what? 7 days?
Anyway, i just found out my school timetable for my next semester is like, woo-hoo-hoo. Actually, more of boo hoo hoo. i end around 4.30 everyday. Except for either wed or fri, depending on which day i decide to torture myself with longer school hours.
Went to sentosa with becky on wed. sadly the sun wasnt that great. i got darker, but not much.
I've been spending my days stoning online, playing that thing with six strings and watching seasons of Futurama. what a life ey?
monotony describes it best. its a cycle. wake up, sleep, wake up, sleep, wake up, sleep. with the occasional meals, showers and etc. nothing too exciting happening around in my life.
I so needa get off my butt and do something more productive. HMM.
well, im tired already. Good night all.

Wednesday, March 22, 2006 alright, again i'm swinging into the blog-irregularly stage. Like as if i ever DID blog regularly.
past few days were pretty normal. Guitar exercises from Raymond are getting more and more painful. But no pain no gain yeah?
The results of my final exams were out this morning. i got :
B, B, B+, B+, B+, C+, C+, D.
Yes i DO take 8 modules. not much different from sec school.
Moving on, I think i'm joining preaching challenge after a little encouragement from pst Audrey this afternoon.
a statement that totally made my night . "Do nuns have hair?" by anonymous. HAHAHAH!
oh madamme anonymous, THANK YOU!
apologies for the short post. i'm zonked outta my wit.

Friday, March 17, 2006 hello all.
if you've read my previous entries, you probably figure im kinda off.
well, im almost back at 100%. right now, maybe i'd say 95?
okay, yesterday was tiring, and if you think tiring means i slept little, you're wrong, its not just that.
i slept like what? 5 hours? beause my genius friend booked the soccer field at 7am. so whoopee doo dah, i had to wake up at 5.30.
match started at around 7.15am, ran like a mad cow. scored 1. eventually we won 6-4 i think. so hurrah to that.
after the match, had breakfast with the guys at like 10, rushed home. grabbed my guit, rushed out to an undisclosed location. after that undisclosed location, rushed to paya lebar and met deora, samantha and en, they were studying, i was erm, pigging.
at 3, rushed to deora's place for mahjong. I ADMIT I LOOK WEIRD AT A MAHJONG TABLE. like what's some angmoh-ish thing doing at the table RIGHT? mahjong went great. but our dearest foong sisters were well, lets say it wouldnt be the same if they didnt come.
then i had to rush to marina square to meet becky and alex. and later on joined by samantha.
the mosaic music festival's indie night sure sucked.
But before meeting alex, becky and i had to walk over to suntec from marina square, on the way, stopped by SKIN, har har! we met pst Kong, we said hi, exchanged handshakes and many smiles, had a short chat with him. He's gotta be the most friendly person on earth. i am NOT kidding. had good laughs with him, great smiles. Annoited man, friendly man, very down to earth. theres no one else i rather have as my senior pastor man.
now moving on to the indie night.
Pulse leaves alot to be desired with their try too hard to be rocker chic vocalist, who by the way was ultimately horrible.
i didnt even bother to watch rafael.
Ronin was omg, he's just trying to act like aerosmith. the musicians were good. VERY good. but the vocalist. was erm. really bad.
the whole night, the 4 of us were being subjected to massive amounts of lung cancer. three cheers to all you tobacco manufacturers. you people are the smartest humans on earth, if anyone deserves a nobel peace prize its you guys. hip hip hurray.
dear becky left early, so it left sam, lex and i.
we took shelter at the starbucks in raffles city. trust me, the noise there is an unmeasureable percentage better than hearing ronin's vocalist.
now, that was my day yesterday. hah ha ha. now my shoulders hurt from carrying my guitar case everywhere during the day. my legs hurt like mad from my soccer match. my foot has a bruise cause some smart guy kicked it when playing soccer. my brain's kinda dead from blogging. my eyes are seeing stars from looking at the com screen, my left forearm and palm almost cramped up from practicing the guitar for my lesson tmr.
three cheers to tobacco!
HIP HIP HURRAY! LUNG CANCER FOR ALL!
good night. God bless.
P.s I DONT SMOKE.

Wednesday, March 15, 2006 i'm almost back to my normal self. like the title goes. 70%, meaning now if i dont joke as much, dont be surprised. if i seem stoned, dont be surprised.
Thank God for being there when i cried out to Him.
Thank God for an awesome CGL.
Thank God for an awesome brudder.
Thank God for awesome friends.
without those things the past 2 days would literally have been horrid.
It wasn't a good week. not at all.
its a week i wanna forget forever.
Officially for me, this year will have 51 weeks. not 52.
right now i dont exactly feel like blogging. so good night all. Just need to get over the hangover stage.

Tuesday, March 14, 2006 i'm gonna be listening to FOB's sugar we're going down, like alot.
who knows. had dinner with my family at tiong bahru (bharu?) however you spell it, i dont care.
Met the lion at esplanade, to get my mind off things, yeah, it was the mosaic music festival, the band was pretty darn good. killer bassist, head banging guitarist, master keyboardist, in his own world drummer and great vocalists.
helped cool things off somewhat, but well, back home, back to stuff. you can run but you cant hide.
day's been draining, full of mixed emotions. very very draining.
getting my mind off things was short lived, but it helped. Thanks bro.
Just reached home at 1am. hurrah. can you so sense the sarcasm? i'll probably amaze myself with my sleeping time again.
its the holidays and i dont even get enough rest. not that i dont want to.
i'll end here. fullstop.

Monday, March 13, 2006 so well, blog's back. or rather i'm back. officially, i havent blogged in like a month and 13 days.
a thousand apologies for all you guys who kept coming and the stuff just didnt change.
well, life's been up and down as usual, like who's isnt yeah?
CG today was awesome. Service was awesome.
let me try to recap my past month, Exams, Projects, deadlines deadlines deadlines, not a day went by without someone asking "did you finish this?", "hey what about that?" or even better "huh? deadline's today?!"
year one in poly was over 2 weeks ago, and honestly i'm glad it is, i've had the privilege of doing projects with some of the most "efficient" people on earth. like totally. even one powerpoint slide an hour is like a great achievement for them. The month just before school closed was the month i stopped blogging exactly cause of deadlines, gloroius daedlines.
On the other hand, year one's been pretty good, made good friends who actually can study and work. I feel i dont EXACTLY get along with people in my class as well as i do with those guys from the combined class, but hey its been a pleasure knowing every single one of your guys in 01 and 02. Class seems like never ending entertainment when the classes merge for lectures. lecturers get all fuming when we dont get a thing and still joke about it. awesome.
okay, now on to other stuff. E310 and W265 have combined cg now and man do the two cell's contrast each other. One's really noisy, the other's pretty quiet. But it's great knowing everyone from both CG's. And i totally look forward to many many many many more awesome fellowships.
i dont know why, but i feel like thanking everyone individually, so here goes,
Jo - thanks for all the encouragement and leadership, theres totally no one else i'd rather have as my cgl.
Giddygid - for all the humor and advice you've given.
Jen - for always standing in the gap whenever someone needed.
Max - as much as i might suan you, you're an awesome bud.
Alex - for bringing me to church and being an awesome brudaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh
George - bringing smiles at the movies. ahem shorts. ahem geisha.
Mel Tan - for the company and ahem, m&m's! never gonna forget the O level results nights!
Yanling - meeting me at bishan the first couple of weeks when i came to church. always have intersting bus rides!
Mel K. - those erm friendster "competitions"
Briony - forever being smiley and cheerful! brightens everyone's day!
Emily - imelda, thanks for the gifts and humor you so subconsciously bring.
Van - for the entertainment the very first time i met E310 at old airport road.
Teik - always a joy talking to you
Sam - the lame jokes are lame but entertaining, and the awesome music during cg
Heri - the computer whiz, as well as my ACS brother. har har!
Pam - being auntie and making everyone laugh.
Fel - as much as we suan, you're great to talk to.
Shu min - the only one who can take the bus with me all the way, always great talking to you.
Grace - SHINE POLY SHINE FOREVER MORE! up and coming suan powerhouse. always crazy and high!
Sonia - always a great joy talking to you! makes me smile for some reason. polkadot girl!
Weixin - always fun crapping till the cows decompose. thanks for the math books!
Terrence Quah - basketball guru, looking forward to running!
it's been a joy being in E310. right from the start i knew this bunch of you weren't the average city harvesters. and day by day, i find it more and more true. Everyone has a great God purposed desitny. The following verse is for all of you.
matthew 24:35 "Heaven and Earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away"
Isaiah 46:11 says "Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it"
in the same way, God's word will never die. As such, God's puspose for us will never die. follow your calling, obey His word. He'll do the rest.
God bless all.
